Risk Disclaimer
Version of 5 October 2026
In short
Crypto trading is high-risk. You can lose all the money you trade with. No bot, AI model or backtest can guarantee profit.
1. You can lose money
Crypto prices can move very fast and very far. You can lose part or all of the money in your exchange account. Only trade with money you can afford to lose completely.
2. Futures and leverage
Futures and leverage multiply both gains and losses. A small move against you can close (liquidate) a position and lose its whole margin. Funding fees are charged while positions are open.
3. Strategies, AI and backtests
- Strategies and AI models are based on past data and can be wrong — sometimes for long periods.
- Backtests are simulations. They use assumptions about fees, slippage and fills that real markets may not match, and a strategy tuned to the past (over-fitting) often fails in the future.
- Paper trading uses simulated money: real orders can fill at worse prices, later, or not at all.
- Past results — real, paper or simulated — do not guarantee future results.
4. Technical risks
- Exchanges, internet connections, our servers or the bot software can fail or be slow. Orders can be rejected, delayed or duplicated.
- In fast markets a stop-loss can execute at a much worse price than set (slippage), or not at all if the exchange is unavailable.
- Safety stops (risk limits, kill switches) reduce risk but cannot remove it.
5. Exchange risk
Your money stays on the exchange you choose, not with us. Exchanges can freeze accounts, be hacked, change rules, or go bankrupt. Choose carefully and never keep more there than needed.
6. Laws and taxes
Rules for crypto trading differ by country and can change. You are responsible for checking that trading is legal where you live and for paying any taxes on your results.
7. Not financial advice
AivorixQuant provides software, not advice. We are not licensed financial advisers. Consider independent professional advice before trading.
8. A safe way to start
- Start with paper trading and backtests.
- Go live only with a small amount, on a sub-account with withdrawals disabled.
- Keep the risk limits strict and check your bots regularly.
