My bot stopped, halted or isn't trading
The usual reasons and what to do about each.
No trades yet
- The bot decides once per closed 1-hour candle and only trades when its rules match — quiet markets can mean days without a trade.
- Open the bot page → Activity: skipped signals show the reason (risk limit, max positions, stale data …).
Halted
- The max drawdown limit was reached. The bot waits for you on purpose: review its trades, then start it again or change the settings.
- On a live bot: too many orders in an hour or a stop-loss that could not be placed also halt it — you get an alert with the reason.
Stopped by itself
- Your exchange key was disabled by the daily safety check (e.g. withdrawals were turned on). Add a safe key and start again.
- Your plan changed and allows fewer running bots.
- An admin or the kill switch stopped trading — see the banner at the top of the app.
Tip: Exchange-side stop-losses of a live bot stay at the exchange while the bot is stopped.
